How is everyone going? It is easy to get overwhelmed and try to do everything at once. If you don’t get to a de-cluttering task, just wait – there will be another one tomorrow. By doing one thing at a time slowly we bring down the clutter levels in our lives.
I’m getting better at only doing as much as I can finish before I get interrupted or lose enthusiasm.
I get set up (rubbish bag, donation box, recycle box and return box handy), spent 10 minutes de-cluttering, and then finish up. That means all rubbish in the bin, all recycling taken out, donations in the box and the box back in its cupboard, or the contents taken to the car and the box re-lined with a bin bag. Returns go in the car to be given back to friends/ library next time I see them.
