Do you need help dealing with your memorabilia? If you'd like to make your family's story out of all the loose photos in the box under the bed, or movie tickets in a drawer, this is the week for you.
Take a look at this "How to make Scrapbooks and Albums" page first – it gives you an overview of how we will go about taming the beast.
Today you need to get a concertina folder, or a dozen or so large envelopes. You will also need one or two photo safe pens. I’d suggest getting 1 in black , and one in silver or gold that will show up on black paper. Make sure they are "Acid Free", or have the (AP) logo on them. Fine point Sharpie markers work well and are acid free.
Note: I always say don’t buy anything ‘just in case’ but we are going to use concertina folders for more jobs in the near future, so get 2-3 in different colours while you are at it. Also 2 file books with the clear ‘slip in’ pages, 20 regular envelopes, and a book of postage stamps.
If you don’t do albums, take a few minutes to go through the CD collection.Find three that you don't watch and donate them or give them to friends,
