We were talking about the clutter that accumulates in those forgotten spots at the City East de-cluttering course last night.
One brave soul confessed to having THREE resuscitation dummies in the garage (yes, we did make all the required ‘inflatable’ jokes), used extremely rarely for teaching first aid courses (but only when the course venue doesn’t provide their own).
I really liked her idea of donating them to her local surf club for training, on the proviso that she could borrow them back if she ever needed them.
So often we hold on things because we know we will need them very occasionally. Passing them on to someone who will use them frequently but who will lend it back to us if we need it is a great solution.
