Car de-cluttering: What is in in the front of your car?

It is the middle week of the school holidays – I’m guessing the junk level in your car is starting to rise. Time for a pre-emptive declutter

Today let’s just attack the front seats. Take a few small grocery bags out to the car – tie a knot in them (to avoid suffocation) and leave them in the glove box for easy clean ups in future.

I’ve dumped all the rubbish, and finally dropped the plastic bag stash to day care. I also went through the glove box, side pockets (jelly bean), under the seat (alas, the red crocs are still missing), and into the centre console (ewwwwwwwww). It is amazing where clutter accumulates.

I keep a packet of baby wipes in the glove compartment – I wipe down the dashboard/plastic when I’m waiting around for someone. It gives me something to do and keeps my car cleaner(er).

I’m going to check the wiper fluid while I’m at it – there is bound to be  the remains of the water bottle under the other seat.

If you don’t have a car, take a look at your key ring. What do you have on it that is no longer relevant?
