back-to-school–de clutter the kids books

There are a few ways to do this job.

You might approach it by theme (if they are on to volcanos now they may be past dinosaurs) or by location (get rid of everything still on the shelf and keep everything that is in the bed or on the floor perhaps?)

Either way it has to be done  - they need space to fill up with new ideas, interests and hobbies.

Cull out anything that is dirty or falling apart, and pass the rest on to a charity or small friend.  Don’t keep hand-me-downs for a child more than two years younger – the best place to store books your child isn’t reading is on someone else’s bookshelf.

If you don’t have kids at home, use this opportunity to de-clutter your own book shelves.
