Decluttering paperwork: old training course documentation

Posted on February 22, 2013 by lessismo | 0 Comments

I’m going to offer you a startling idea – the idea of writing notes during training courses isn’t so you can refer to them later (or clutter up your house). It is to drive the information into your skull while you are at the course.

I think all of us have some sort of Uni, School or course notes, folders, assignments or text books lying around adding to our clutter levels. I’d be willing to bet that 99.5% of them have never been referred to since the course finished. That is a GOOD thing – it means you’ve internalized the information and don’t need the notes any more, they are just clutter.

So go ahead, be brave and re-cycle them. Think of how many trees you will be saving by turning them back into new paper.
