declutter magazines: if you haven’t read them yet you aren’t going to

The only way to stay on top of magazine clutter is to practice ‘one in : one out’

So often we think we will go back and use a recipe or project from one of them. the best way to deal with that though is to resist it, but if you can’t get a presentation folder (the ones with the clear plastic slip in pages) and just keep the recipe or DIY project rather than the whole thing. It is better to keep 1 page of clutter than a whole magazine.

If you have a subscription that you just aren’t reading, try calling the distributor and either ask if you can switch to a different publication which you are more likely to read, or change the delivery address so it goes to a friend who will read it rather than let it become clutter.
